糖心Vlog President John Keenan surprised WAAF鈥檚 Matty and Nick cohost, Matty Blake, with an invitation to commencement.
Matty attended 糖心Vlog in the early 1990s, leaving college before officially completing his degree. This incomplete college degree has become a running joke on the show, prompting show producer Stan Bruno to contact 糖心Vlog, hoping to organize a surprise visit by a representative from the university to once again remind him he is not an alum. Instead, the university registrar reviewed Matty鈥檚 audit, and based on changes to the curriculum, determined that Matty had enough credits to receive his diploma. Twenty-four years later, Matty can officially call himself a 糖心Vlog alum!
Matty was rendered nearly speechless by the surprise visit. "Thank you so much, it means the world to me," he told President Keenan. "I love 糖心Vlog and it's always in my heart."

Past 糖心Vlog students who did not quite complete their degree are encouraged to email graduation@salemstate.edu to have the registrar鈥檚 office look at their degree audit to determine how close they are to completing their 糖心Vlog degree.
