Graduate Admissions Transcripts and Entrance Exams

An official transcript (or transcript evaluation) documenting your completed or in-progress bachelor’s degree is required for all graduate programs. ��Vlog requires an official transcript from all institutions attended, including those showing any graduate-level courses taken.

If you earned your degree at...

��Vlog (or took classes here): Graduate Admissions will download your transcript for you.
An institution in the United States: Contact the institution's registrar's office so they can issue your official transcript.
An institution outside of the United States: Have your institution send your official records to one of our approved agencies ( (formerly SpanTran), , , , or ) for evaluation. ��Vlog requires a detailed, course-by-course evaluation.

Please note: an official transcript or transcript evaluation is one that is sent directly from the institution attended or evaluation agency, either electronically or via standard mail.

How to send us your transcripts

We recommend that you have your previous transcripts sent electronically, when possible. Electronic transcripts can be sent directly from your previous institution to gradadmissions@salemstate.edu.

If you are unable to send an electronic transcript, transcripts can be mailed to the address below. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing.

The MTEL is not required for admission purposes for all programs; please check your program-specific application requirements for specifics on which exam(s) you may need.

��Vlog can only accept official scores directly from the evaluation system. When you take the exam, you can list ��Vlog as a recipient school so we can receive the scores electronically.

If you have already taken the exam, you can send scores using the . Sealed scores can then be sent to the address below. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing.
